Why Us:

When babies are born, they have nearly 100 billion nerve cells in their brains. The cells are unformed and not yet ready to determine a child’s emotional, social and intellectual patterns.

They start forming between the ages zero and three years. During this time, repeated stimulation of these cells is essential for the healthy development of the brain. The quantity and quality of stimuli affects a child’s emotional as well as physical abilities.

There are stages in your child’s growth when the brain is ready for acquiring certain kinds of learning. They are called ‘windows of opportunity’.

The Banyan’s scientifically tested methodologies are devised to recognise such opportunities, and our staff is trained to make the most of them, for the benefit of your child.

The Banyan pledges quality

Children are special. You want to give them the best, especially education. You need someone who can understand them as easily as you do, and provide the same kind of loving, careful guidance in a hygienic environment and this is what we provide.

At The Banyan we are committed to quality in our teaching techniques, educational aids and facilities that we provide.

Small is beautiful

Our emphasis is on personalised care because we believe the Banyan is your child’s second home. So, we keep our learning groups small; the child-teacher ratio is at 1:8.

The idea is to enable the teachers to talk to the children, read aloud to them, hear them patiently. Just like you.

Hygiene like home

There is a separate dining hall, where children collect at snack time.

Every classroom has an attached wash room and optimum hygiene levels are maintained both at the school and the daycare.

Modern educational aids

The Banyan houses an amphitheatre, puppet theatre, audio-visual room and a multimedia, library stacked with CDs and books all sourced from various places. Besides, there is an art room and a separate computer room .

Not to miss the props, blocks and construction materials for your child to work and play with!

Games children play

Our classrooms are always a hub of activity. The programmes are picked according to the age and development needs of children under our care. They include :
